Convicted by the system they swore to defend.
Military advocacy for service members and veterans caught in a justice system built for good order and discipline rather than for finding the truth — and for the families who lose a career, a pension, and a name along with them.
Military justice does not work like the civilian system, and most Americans have no idea how different it is. Commanders have historically shaped the process. Panels are smaller than juries. The consequences arrive faster and reach further.
A conviction does not just mean confinement. It can mean a punitive discharge, the loss of a pension earned across a career, the loss of VA health care for injuries the service caused, and a characterization on a discharge paper that follows a veteran into every job application for the rest of their life.
Correcting any of that afterward means navigating discharge review boards, records correction boards, and VA appeals — processes that are technical, slow, and effectively closed to anyone without a lawyer. Restore Honor is being built to be that lawyer.
None of these are open yet. We are publishing them now so that the people who need them can tell us we got it wrong before we build the thing.
Funded civilian counsel alongside appointed military defense, for service members facing court-martial or administrative separation.
Petitions to upgrade a discharge characterization and correct military records, so a service member is not defined forever by the worst document in their file.
VA claims and appeals for veterans denied health care, disability compensation, or education benefits because of how their service ended.
We are looking for a veteran, a military defense attorney, or a veterans advocate who knows court-martial practice and the boards from the inside — and who is tired of watching people lose everything over a process nobody outside the military understands.
We bring the operations, media, funding, technology, and back office. You bring the expertise and the platform, and we build the initiative around you — with a paid position track for leaders who build something that lasts.
APPLY TO LEAD THIS INITIATIVE →If you are living this right now, do not wait for the launch. Get on the list and we will contact you the moment intake opens — and what you tell us shapes what we build.
Use the Get Help form and pick this initiative. We cannot promise representation before launch, but a person will read what you wrote, and if we know someone who can help you now, we will say so.
This initiative launches when it is funded and led. Seed gifts and a founding coordinator are the two things standing between where we are and an open door.
Seed funding is what turns 2027 into something sooner.
